Calling all Haitian Entrepreneurs.....my global network of
professionals, is prepared to provide “know-how” and the tools to
Haitian peoples, communities, industries and municipalities and
empower them to help themselves.

We have 200 ft2 package home design that is earthquake resistance,
and comes with rainwater collection system, gravity drinking water
filter and solar light. Cost of each home is Cdn$5500.00 EXW
Vancouver, BC Canada. In Canada we can build one home in 1 day by 3/4
trained people. We can supply intial home packages from Canada but our
goal is to show Haitians how they can make and build the homes
themselves.

We also have a very fast and cost effective multi-level building
technique that we can show Haitians how to build these multi-level
residential/commercial earthquake resistant buildings. These buildings
are designed to high earthquake resistance standards here in Vancouver
BC Canada. The buildings can be up to 6-8 floors, are also light
weight, fire resistant, sound proof, high qualtiy and built from load
bearing steel stud frame construction.
In Canada our crew of 7 men framed a 6 story 50,000 sq. ft. building
in 120 days. We can show Haitians how to build fast.

All housing and buildings can come with water purification, package
sewage treatment and alternative energy systems. We have the "know-
how", technology and need some strong minds, backs, faith and money to
get the job done.

All "know-how" is proudly Canadian....

I welcome all inquires to my email at wil...@watercorp.com.

Sounds amazing, William. Where can we see more details, such as materials, connections and test data? Especially interested in your tall-building methodology. Looking forward to your reply.

William,

I live in a climate similar to that in Haiti.  Philippines, Mindanao.  Several people have used steel studs here, but, with poor results.

If used for rural poor, they are left exposed to elements on the inside of the building, resulting in rust where water is common.

Humidity here remains constant between 80 and 100%.  No need for a heater.  In northern climes the inside of the building is heated and in heating reducing the static humidity.  Even air conditioning can reduce humidity. Here, water spilled on walls could remain wet for days, in places with poor air circulation, forever.

The coating that binds the studs was "hardy flex" cement board.  This product is almost impossible to patch if broken, tends to go soft if exposed to repeated water, and when lapped does not make a vermin proof barrier.

Screws suitable for steel studs are simply not available to me anyplace within 150 Miles from my home.

Have you found that these problems have been solved with your type of building?

Abu
