Good morning Joseph Alfred,

In response to your message, these four (4) Haitian Candidates shall learn the basic of leadership and Strategic Management….Improving the way to reach a goal is one of the keys to success in politics. It is the importance of strategic management.

* Over the past 35 years, I have written millions of analytical and scientific messages on LEADERSHIP and Strategic Management to provide a basic overview of the major activities and key terms in strategic planning...Please refer to major International organizations, MBA Professional Associations, U.S. University Graduate Students organizations....and, more importantly, the largest muliti-billion-dollar companies in the world in order to read my messages and articles...

Diaspora Haïtienne

Which one of you is willing to talk to these candidates or is it better to remain quiet to keep our friendship. Each of you receiving this memo knows one of these candidates. We cannot talk about developing a country if we lose this winnable race in South Florida.
==============

Florida 4 Haitian Candidates, remember May 18, 1803

"BRUTUS PHILLIP" <brutusl...@bellsouth.net>, "Marleine Bastien" <Marleine...@hotmail.com>, bastianfo...@gmail.com, "Rudolph Rudy Moise" <in...@VoteMoise.com>, rudolp...@yahoo.com, "Yolly Roberson" <victo...@aol.com>

(District 17 includes Liberty City , Miami , El Portal, Miami Shores , North Miami , Miami Gardens , Opa-Locka, and parts of Miramar , Pembroke Park , & Hollywood )

Dear Marleine Bastien, Phillip J. Brutus, Rudolph "Rudy" Moise, and Yolly Roberson

My fellow citizens,

On this day, May 18, 1803, I call upon each of you to establish a pact among you and explore the feasibility to send one Haitian Candidate in the 17th district.

Before the Union , each camp was fighting the French Army and they won many battles but it was impossible to win the war. A few Haitians jumped in discreetly and invite the leaders and others to join hands together and establish a Union .

On May 18, 1803 the first and the sole union in our existence was created and 6 months later Haiti became the second independent country in this continent.

My brothers and sisters who are running in the 17th district; with 4 candidates, you will lose and the Haitian Diaspora will miss a golden opportunity to see the first Haitian-American elected in the U.S. Congress. There is no guarantee that one candidate will be elected; however, we may have a good chance if only one Haitian-American candidate is running in the 17th district.

My brothers and sisters, in this historical day, in the time of a defining moment of our existence in the Diaspora, it would be great to have a Haitian-American in the U.S Congress and it cannot happen with 4 of you running for the same seat.

It is hard when you will be giving that opportunity to someone who is not your friend and who might be your foe. However, this personal sacrifice will put you above any critic and if a Haitian-American is elected, they will say that it was the unselfish action of other candidates that had paved the way for him/her to get elected. And this political gesture will follow you everywhere and the Haitian Diaspora will thank you for it.

Remember the Union , our ancestors left us a legacy and we know what to do if we want to reach the goal. Again, make an effort to have a consensus among you and pledge to support whoever emerging from that consensus.

The Miami Gardens mayor has a good relation with the Haitian community and she is expected to win heavily. At this time, the Haitian Diaspora is loosing a winnable seat at the U.S. congress. With 4 candidates, you are guaranteed to lose but with one candidate, you have a chance to make history.

To the 4 Haitian-American candidates, do not forget May 18, do not forget the Union and with the hope that you will put aside your indifferences and send one Haitian-American candidate, I wish you a Happy May 18 Celebration.

To my compatriots, I wish you to start working on reiterating the Union . Happy May 18 Celebration!

Joe Alfred, Atlanta , GA

On Going Protest: Civic and Religious Leaders in Haiti need to create a Mediation Team

Following his release from prison on 11 February 1990, Mandela led his party in the negotiations that led to multi-racial democracy in 1994. As president from 1994 to 1999, he frequently gave priority to reconciliation.

Nelson Mandela: a World Hero; he put in place a Reconciliation Commission, he governed South Africa and protected the right of the  minority,  he brought the World Cup to South Africa.

My Haitian people, today, you see what is happening right now in South Africa (The world Cup); Haiti can organize major world class event one of these days but nothing serious will happen until you reconcile yourselves.

On going protest will shift the attention away from the Reconstruction Process and nothing serious can be done in this uncertain and volatile situation.

Before it is too late, it would be in the best interest of the country for those who are leading the protest and the government to engage in a serious and meaningful negotiation.

We tend to ignore things until it reaches the point of No-Return. This current situation has the propensity of making Haiti a no-man land in the region and we shall prevent it at all cost.

While the situation is still manageable, I call upon the protagonists to start the negotiation process. After reading these below from metropolehaiti, we conclude that there is a problem that is needed to be solved before it deteriorates.

We shall not be afraid to confront these problems right on and there are people in Haiti and the Diaspora who can help and also you can seek the assistance of the international community. However, ignoring this problem is not going to make it gone away.

In taking a good look at the turbulent history of Haiti where most governments ended up with a coup d’état or a coup de force, fled to exile or had an emergency meeting with Saint Peter; it is prudent for the civic and religious leaders of Haiti to create a negotiation team that can help the protagonists solving this urgent problem and finding a suitable solution.

Ample respect goes toward all donors and transistors due to their maximum effort done to raise funds and collect other necessities to help our brothers and sisters needs in Haiti during this unexpected tragedy that left more than 300,000 deceased according to an official report released by the international community relief effort.

After this quake, I truly believe that we are distancing ourselves from an increasingly opportunity to change our country because of our mentality remains unchanged and constant. We always spend a significant amount of time to talk about the past, and we are bickering over opportunity. I have been in attendance in several organizations meeting in regard to "how can we change Haiti?" there was no follow up on what have been discussed . We are more likely interested in our personal's interests instead of aiming a repatriate feeling that will allow us to share a common attitude for prosperity. We need to stop launching verbal assaults against each other after being discussed over differences; it is always good to have a complete resolution via diplomacy and respect.

There are three things in life, once gone, never comeback: Time, Words and Opportunity.  The time to start a serious negotiation is now.
