Mini-Pinnie in NYC June 7/8/9/10/11/12/-ish?

Hello New York City Pinners.

I am going to a conference at Barnard from 9-12 June this year. Is anyone interested in a Mini-Pinnie around then? (I haven't got a ticket yet so might also be adding days on to the front/back end of that time.) I know virtually no one in nor anything about New York, because I am a country mouse rube hayseed yokel (okay, maybe not a yokel). And... who doesn't want to say they met chic New Yorker Pinners? No one, that's who.

That's a great idea! I actually graduated from Barnard a few years
ago, so maybe I can bestow some wisdom (if knowledge of locations
where one can consume excessive amounts of cheap alcohol counts as
"wisdom") upon you! What's the conference?

It's a conference on teaching Reacting to the Past games. Which, if you went to Barnard you might have actually done at some point? All cheap booze, dining and other fun thing suggestions welcome, of course! And suggestions for places people can get to for a Mini-Pinnie because I have no idea. I never actually took a Reacting to the Past seminar, but Mark Carnes
was my major advisor (and also my major weird professor crush), and I
heard great things from people who did participate in Reacting!
Anyway, that sounds awesome!

Is anyone else in New York interested in a mini pinnie situation?

I did! I will be in NYC 6 June- 12 June, then to Providence till 15 June. Will be in Manhattan 6-10 June, then I think Queens (?) till 12 June, with no obligations from Sunday evening on. Also have evening time free every night pretty much.

the FB group, too. It looks like people are planning to do Hot Bird in
Clinton Hill sometime soon, so maybe we can combine all of these
