It was great to see everyone who came out for the Chicago Vegan Grill
'Pin-Up! Let's keep a good thing going! I set up a poll to pick a
date for September, so please vote: http://doodle.com/z762py3xpwu9tfy8
Let's go with Sunday, September 23, then, since it was fairly
popular. Where should we meet? I'd suggest somewhere in Logan, since
that as reasonably easy to get to as anywhere!

Alright, since no one else is offering additional thoughts, I'll just go ahead and put in mine! 90 miles is fun, but to give some options, here are few more that have big areas for outdoor seating and aren't full of juiceboxes.
90 Miles - 2540 W Armitage (Western blue line) Cuban food, so it's mostly meat-based dishes, but there are some vegetarian (possibly vegan) options, BYOB tons of outdoor seating http://www.90milescubancafe.com/
Boiler Room - 2210 N California (California blue line) known for their pizza, but also salads and apps, beers and cocktails outdoor seating in the back http://boilerroomlogansquare.com/
El Cid - 2645 N Kedzie (Logan Square blue line) Mexican with vegetarian options (maybe not vegan?) with margarita pitchers outdoor seating in the back http://www.elcid2.com/

I vote for boiler room, most of the places suggested seem like places where one sits down to have a meal, & I think we've usually been pretty much a happy hour right? We might get food but mostly we have a couple of drinks. Also, we need to be vegan/veg friendly if food is happening.
I *just* read the part about this being a late lunch, sorry all! Still Boiler Room does a good veg & a good vegan slice! Over by the Western stop, I'm not familiar with 90 miles but there is a vegan mexican place on western called 'quesadilla la reina del sur' (but it might be a bit small for our goup) and there is also Belly Shack right under the blue line Western stop which is great food for everyone from omnivor to vegan but not a huge menu.
