Levels to parent access

We have Upper School courses that have a mix of students from various grades. We want to be able to grant access to some, but not all. Ex. to 9th and 10th grade parents, but not 10th and 11th.  Also, we want parents to be able to see assignments, but not always the rest of the site; therefore, giving them access to an assignment page only vs. the course site would be great.  Any ideas are appreciated!
