password programs

file that dosen't require admin rights, or hast to boot from a cd

I tryed "John The Ripper" but it can't open the file, because i have
got user rigths, and not Administrator rights. or i have got the wrong
Sam File... (i tryed C:\windows\system32\config\sam)

john the ripper will only crack the password hashes, but the SAM file
already has a format that isn't readable by john, you need another
program, such as SAMInside...

Or you can just ask your sys admin to swap the bios to look for a bootable CD first so you can load Knoppix.  Honestly, he will probably agree if you tell him what you want to use Knoppix for.

unplug the computer, open er up, emove the CMOS battery, wait 30
seconds, pop it back in and there will be no password, or BIOS
settings, but thats re-doable.
