The Lean Startup Conference in SF happens on 3 December. Details at
leanstartup.co.

Is anyone at hackerspace (or anywhere) interested in watching on
livesteam? The time is a bit odd, 9am PST which is an evening on
Monday but it looks like they are trying to figure out a delayed
telecast.

Too many pretty faces.

This is like one of those warning signs in horror films, when the hero/ine feels that something's gone amiss and happy probabilities start plummeting.

And yet the hero/ine usually decides:

it would make perfect sense to run out into a field of zombies without
a weapon.
or
holding a knife and walking into a room full of snakes will work.
or
surely the friend who was heard screaming in the attic is safe and
wants you to find him/her.

Good point. We could make it a Tech Conference + Murder Mystery Mashup

Everyone picks 3 people from the Faces ( on http://leanstartup.co ): a victim, a murderer, and a sleuth.

For each Face, pick a recent headline post from Reddit that sheds some light on their (completely made up by you) story. As we're watching the talks, project each player's reddit link for that person and a quick blurb explaining what/why/how.

Points for posts that crossover well with the Face's presentation. Even more points for making us laugh like Jim Carrey laughs.

Hi Juanita and all,

Happy to report that Lean Startup Circle folks have already reached out to the organizers about doing a livestream and/or delayed telecast. We are meeting next week to sort out the best approach (live vs. delayed, whole conference vs. excerpts) and appropriate venue.

We will advertise this via our meetup page and I will post back to this list as well.

I am not sure whether the conference organizers will support multiple locations in a single city. Seems perhaps not from the website http://leanstartup.co/livestream? But in any case for efficiency may be best for interested folks to just hop on the efforts we already started and we'd love any help.

Also curious if anyone on this list has opinions - do you prefer to have access to the whole full day conference or would it be more appealing to have a few hours of the best material rebroadcast in the evening?

Cheers,
Isaac

Make it available to all, people will curate it down to their
perspective's best.
