Speaking of BT 4.0, there is a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
shield<http://www.seeedstudio.com/depot/bluetooth-low-energy-shield-p-1255.html>for
Arduino available in Seeedstudio. It is developed by a small team in
HK, named Red Bear Lab <http://redbearlab.com/>.

I was in their iOS sdk beta tester team, but haven't got the chance to play
with the BLE shield :(
