Great idea!! We should get him to do a presentation. He's an awesome guy! I'm not a member either but I am sure we can get someone to help setup an event. :)

How about having the aug raspberry pi on 6th aug and have him as a speaker?

We could do Raspberry'Pi meetup, but I'm afraid if there's enough people who have the boards. The next round of shipments is due late August.

Also, I'd think the HW enthusiast group is much bigger than just Rasp'Pi. We should get them to come down too.. :)

There is also a Load Impact Gater Day event at Hackerspace that evening from 5.30pm.

Haven't really been thinking about it yet. I'll arrive by bus at about 1:30 pm then I'll just drop my bag at the hotel at Cavan Road. After that I'm basically free for anything at anytime
