Hello everybody,

for those of you that haven't seen or heard about it, the website for Sayanee's, Seb's and my humble conference project in November is up:

I'm working with more sponsors currently to make a nice and fair ticket price for the event.
Be sure you put a reminder in your Calendar to get noticed when the first Early-Bird tickets go on sale on the 6th of August at 3pm for 50% off!

Additionally we're still looking for talented speakers from the region that have experience to share and feel confident to give a 45min talk or teach new libraries, tools or concepts in our hands-on workshops. You'd be on stage together with other amazing web developers from all over the world :)

We offer the conference as a shout-out platform for developers created small or big open source projects themselves, preferably JavaScript projects, of course. Developers can apply to get a some minutes of stage time to introduce their project and find contributors and users alike to sit, learn and work in so called "Sprints" over the weekend after the conference. Teams up to 20 people can then gather in Singapore's co-working spaces like The Hub, Hackerspace and SmartSpace and make big process quickly. This is a bit of an experiment and I want to see how the feedback is.

All these applications should be submitted through our "Call For Speakers" (http://jscamp.wufoo.com/forms/call-for-speakers/)

I'll share some organizational insights about the event on our facebook page

and general updates about JavaScript developments in our Twitter feed (I think that's a must follow for every JS developer :))

Please, let me know any questions or feedback that you have.

Thanks and cheers, I hope you'll enjoy this! :)

Hello everybody,

The JSCamp registration opens in ~30 minutes and Hackerspace.SG members and friends can get a discount of 50% if they use the discount code "HACKERSPACESG" when registering.
Discounts are limited, so the earlier you can use it, the better are you chances.

Hope to see a lof of you in November for a great event :)

Cheers,

Thomas

Hello everybody,

I want to give a small status update on ticket sales of JSCamp.Asia: We only have about 30 tickets left for 295 SGD. I'd like those tickets to go to people like you (Developers/Hackers/Coders) before we give the rest of these discounted tickets away publicly where they are more likely to be snatched by the corporates.

The discount code "HACKERSPACESG" therefor is still valid and can be shared with your friends and family or even through your Twitter/Facebook if you have a lot of developers following you that you'd think would benefit from JSCamp.

Thanks much and hope to see lots of you end of November!

Here's the latest speaker info: http://jscamp.asia/talks

Cheers,

Thomas
