Subject: flexible putty in foil packs

Hi all,

I remember a year or so back several of us bought a new, colorful putty in
foil packs that could be used for repairs.  I find myself needing some, but
I cannot remember the name of the stuff!  Can someone help?

Best,

John

That's it!  Thank you Ruiwen!  Now I just have to find some.

I'm also thinking about using a dental moulding material poured in my ears
to make a perfect positive mould, and then using epoxy resin to make a
hard, durable ear pieces to use with earbuds.  I'm never comfortable for
long periods with the little rubber domes.

I wouldn't recommend using epoxy resin though.. it's a toxic material if
not cured well (and i'm not sure how toxic it is cured). Why not make
silicone earpieces? I know there are companies that sell those as well..

Actually from my research the epoxy resin cures to completely inert status.
It's the polyester resin you have to worry about.

At any rate, I have a few packs of sugru and I don't mind letting one go.
Are you in SG John?
