I'd like to get a bit of feedback on who'd be willing to attend a NodeCopter event, if we'd organize it here in SG after JSCamp on December 1st! The event already happened successfully in Berlin, Dublin and SanFran and having been in Berlin myself, I can tell you it's a super fun!
I'm planning on a general hackathon on the 1st as well. It would be great
to include the nodecopter into this as I want the topic to be: Make
Something Crazy - and nodecopters are hell of a crazy :)
On that topic - Hackathon on the 1st, which I'd like to be a community
project (re. un-conference), and as wide a community as possible (get the
NUS makers over as well, all programming groups like PUGS, SPP, Haskel,
JSCamp people, etc). There is no ulterior motive to this other than Create
For Creation's sake. Prize categories I'd like to see would be *Best
Failure*, *Wow* and *WTF?!* I will get a site up by tonight to get this
rolling, though I'm looking for a venue.
Answers I need:
Name. (I Like "Red Wire - Because the onlything scarier than a hardware
guy with a software patch is a software guy with a soldering iron")
Venue (talking with the hub and blk 71 and you guys - but HS might be a bit
small as I'm already up to 10 yes with just word of mouth)
Sponsorship/Prizes
Trello board for organising ideas and groups etc.
Are you comming (eventbright page to follow site tonight)
Things I'd like to see:
Awesome 3d printing stuff (we have one)
Robot dog with laser eyes (because 3am and 6 coffees is a great time to
think of ideas)
Airship (Yes, I know, I always want airships)
NodeCopters (to attack the airship of course)
Pure software candy (Games, evil spy overlord programs, etc)
Well,
That is where I stand now on this.

I would like to see a fully autonomous copter which can deliver espresso shots to any unit number in blk71.
