I work for Maxus, a media/advertising agency owned by a big MNC (WPP). Two weeks ago we launched our own internal startup -- a creative & technology innovation unit called Metalworks by Maxus.
We're based in Singapore but have a global remit for the R&D of tech solutions for our own agency network and our clients. This means data and advertising tools and also weird/fun creative campaigns. We have a little team of developers and technology staff (Arduino, RasPi, more hardcore product engineering, industrial designers) in Australia, Hong Kong and India.
We're hiring an entrepreneurial Technology Product Manager to manage projects and evolve the R&D outputs into viable products, including global rollout amongst our agency network, or adaptation/iteration of MVPs for different client requirements.
Details attached (PDF) - it's a varied role that would suit someone with a lust for tech, good project delivery skills who wants to work in a non-traditional corporate environment.
This is ideally a full-time role, but we can be flexible – meaning that if you have a startup on the side but need some regular income four days a week, let’s figure how that might work. If you’re looking for a 3-6 month contract before moving on, that might work too.
