In addition to various other things that don't distress me as much, the
following are missing:
- The upper half of a Canon X-710
associated pen storage tubes (2-3 clear cylinders, each about the
size of a biro, each containing 4 stainless steel pens about 2cm long).
- The body of a Minolta Dimage EX
coloured section on the left).
The former was in a clear plastic box clearly labelled "Raz's Stuff" in the
top cupboards above the window in the lab. That box (and another bearing
the same label) have now been repurposed for storing stationary; I know
this because they're both still clearly labelled "Raz's stuff". Their
former contents appear to have been more-or-less uniformly distributed
about the space.
The latter was in the same cupboards - granted it was in an unlabelled box
- along with the other parts of the camera. I found the infra-red and
optical imaging components of the camera sitting on the table near the
front of the main room (where the phone is), I was unable to find the body
or the plugpack (I did look in the box of plugpacks).
Would appreciate any help on recovering these items.
I can muster neither sufficient sarcasm nor grace at present to do justice
to level of stupidity/malice displayed here. While the dispersal of the
camera's parts might reasonably be written off as stupidity, the
dispersal of my stuff from boxes that were clearly labelled as mine is
1: Quite serious stupidity: almost everything else in those three cupboards
was clearly labelled as mine or was obviously Makerbot parts; it would not
have taken much thought to (a) infer that the camera was probably also mine
and (b) phone me and ask.
