It's a 2.4GHz VTX, so you'll not be able to use a 2.4GHz radio set with it.
I've been making small FPV modules lately, I use the RangeVideo 200mW
5.8GZ modules and then one of the microcams from FPVHobby. The RV
modules are cheap - $20, but use the 'A' set of 5.8GHz channels for
which you'll need a matching RX, RV also sell them. They aren't
compatible with the common RC305 receiver that HobbyKing and others
sell. Also they are strictly 3.3V, so I use a diode in series with a
1S lipo to power it which seems to work fine.
FPVHobby also have 5.8GHz modules, they can take 5V so straight 1S
lipo is fine, so a lot more convenient, and they are compatible with a
standard RC305 receiver. They are $40 though, so you have to make a
choice there.
