I emailed the guys at Shenzhen Esun Industrial Co.,Ltd that was mentioned
eariler and they sent me a price list as attached.

Shipping is $6.10 us per kg

so if we order 8x 1kg rolls approx 120m per roll of 3mm PLA its $19.60 us
or  $25.70 shipped
If we order  96 rolls its
$11.50us                                                               or
$17.60 shipped

ABS is a little cheaper if we buy in 2.3kg rolls it works out even cheaper

I have not tried them at all however if another 7 people will chip in
$25.70 I will order a box (8 rolls) to test as that is the minimum order

Lionel, Yes, the buy will still be going ahead. Do you want the 5x 3mm
Silver PLA as a single spool or 5 coils?

John, I've put you down for White, Black, Purple, Kawasaki Lime. All 3mm
PLA.

Jimmy, I've been reading some bad stuff about the Esun filament. Bubbles
and what looks like metal balls in the filament.

The order will be going ahead if all 8 rolls sell as I think testing this
new source could benfit every one.  The 8 rolls in a box will be all 3mm in
any colour and PLA or ABS. I need to sell anoter 4 rolls to go ahead

Just to confuse things I started using my budaschnozzle and tried my bad
filament again and am having success. Maybe my probs were to do with heat
travelling up to the cold end and swelling the filament and causing a jam.
I don't think I can recommend makergear hotends anymore.

Jimmy do you need anymore takers on the esun stuff?

they need a fan blowing on the groovemount for best results, see

Ok, the quote I've gotten from Vik thus far works out to be:

*PLA:* AUD$26.70 per 100m roll (3mm)
*ABS:* AUD$40.40 per 100m roll (3mm)

This includes shipping

I'll email each person who's placed an order with the cost and my bank
details (happy to be paid by direct deposit or paypal).

I ended up ordering that esun box last monday and it arrived today

Vicks 100m roll is 788 grams  avg 2 rolls
esun 1kg is 1.125 on the spool  avg 8 rolls

Now who owes me money $25 a roll
