Subject: OpenSCAD vs DXF

So I've got a vector file I'd like to use to generate a 3d object in
OpenSCAD to create an STL file from to print on the space printer.

Problem is, no matter what program I export the DXF file for the
linear_extrude in OpenSCAD it whines about unsupported lines and such.
I've exported it to every revision of DXF under the sun, re-did the
vector to ensure it was closed etc to no avail.

Does anyone have any experience with this at all? Logs are below, and
I've attached an SVG of the vector..

This is what I get when I export it from Inkscape after fixing up the
vector points:
WARNING: Unsupported DXF Entity `SPLINE' (37x) in
`C:/Users/nog3/Desktop/Imperial_Eagle2.dxf'.

And this is what I get when I export directly from illustrator into
supposedly the right version of DXF to work with OpenSCAD:
