Subject: Parts(A spring and bearing) and the Lathe
I am looking for a cheap spring and bearing.

http://www.prime-line-products.com/home4.wcs?nMenuid=10 is the spring

The bearing is a Flanged-Sleeve Bearing for 5/8" shaft Diameter 3/4"
OD,5/8" length

Closest I have found are the following.

http://www.smallparts.com.au/store/item/psd625/bearingsspyraflopressf...
http://www.smallparts.com.au/store/item/cs22000940002002/springscompr...

Also who do I talk to about using the Lathe?

Eric and Lemming are the two people authorized to assess your capabilities
and "sign-off" on you using the Lathe and Mill.    ( assuming you are a
paid-up member first)

Buzz.

Gives me a section of the site, not a specific item on a page though.

The bearing is a Flanged-Sleeve Bearing for 5/8" shaft Diameter 3/4"

Any particular material (Brass, Delrin, etc)? I see the one you found on
SmallParts was made from Delrin.

try http://www.prime-line-products.com/home4.wcs?nMenuid=10&cProd=&cSProd...

As for the bearing it does not say.

It only says to put it in the support plate and use the lathe to
reduce the length down to the size of the plate.
