How much, and I'll take it. It's nearly identical to one I already have
for parts

At the risk of looking like an idiot for replying to my own post.

I should have checked. What exactly is included here? Just the frame,
or are there workables (wheels, motors, etc) as well?

Aspitech don't have the time to specify, document, price, etc. etc.
Sadly when they have done this before most things don't get purchased,
take up valuable space and get scrap anyway.

So if you are interested go and have look and make an offer in general
terms, prices are the weight of the the scrap metal (which in my opinion
is a bargain). If not it will be scraped.

Only reason anyone has seen it is I was there and noticed it and Tamsyn
volunteered to take a photo.

Does anyone want to put a 2-stroke engine in it?

I bought my daughter a 50cc quad bike for her birthday (will be converted to buggy so its a bit safer for her), but this looks like the a very good starting point for a slightly more docile 'learner' car for her... will be going for electric motivation though I think.

Though I do also have a  600cc fuel injected motor from a R6 in the shed, could make an interesting combination - though possibly not with the daughter driving.

Just the frame, Scott's is being weighed now.  $65 - you'll have to chat to him about wheels.

Yep, I picked up one of the frames, plus 2 sets of wheels.

There is still 2 frames and 3 wheels there.

If anyone ends up grabbing a frame I'm sure we could do a deal on a set of wheels if you required them - I just didn't want to leave them there as they are too good to risk getting scrapped if no-one claimed them.

Will have a closer look at it tonight and chuck up a few pics, but it looks like they are only really missing the batteries and the motor/rear axle assembly.

A control box (most likely ESC, as it has a large cast heatsink) is still fitted to each, as is all of the front suspension/steering assembly-  they even have tail lights.

Found a wiring diagram for the ESC, 160A 24v -they look very familiar, I think we must have quoted to make them at Entech at one stage - they are made in NZ.

Not sure what the PB+/PB- are???

Might venture down and grab the other ESC's and a few other bits tomorrow if they are still available.

Scooters are now pretty much all stripped - went down today and got the last 2 ESC's, all of the suspension/steering components and a few other random goodies.

It would be great if there was some way you could set up a webcam or something and point it and a corner of the workshop where any interesting stuff like this gets put when it comes in... No doubt heaps of other cool stuff goes through to scrap metal - there was some kind of stainless conveyor system I saw in there the other day but looks like it is gone already =(

Pill press.  So probably not something they'd sell direct to the public.  But, yeah, pretty cool.
