Is there going to be a meeting tomorrow, or are we taking a (probably
well earned) break?

I'm planning on heading in for another out-of-band session. I'm hoping
to get the Huxley printing.

I'm bringing in some steppers, DC motors, (old) rotary position sensors and a bit of hardware.
So I hope someone is there!
If there is anyone who can use some fine enamelled wire, sing out.  I'll bring a bit with me.

Ken.

I'll swing by too. Don't want to miss the inaugural ooze.

The Subak II is now in convenient pieces spread between the roof of a 4wd and an accompanying boat trailer. In theory Tim and Pippa head off tomorrow to launch the boat at Customs House on The border. Today we were re-re-repairing holes and leaks, continuing to increase the sikaflex to plywood ratio toward alarming levels. Fingers crossed!

Hello,

I am bringing back the 1/8 of lantern with Ribbon cables soldered onto
the array.
Just need some final electrical tests before we power on and straighten
out the code.
I did find a couple of low brightness leds, but the array seems good
over all.

Is someone coming to work on the software side??

In the immortal words of Peter Wintulich on 02/01/12 10:18:

I'm happy to take a look at the code. Less chance of making things go
BANG! that way :)

It may take me a little while to get up to speed on how it's supposed to
work though.

If anyone has a copy of the code, I wouldn't mind taking a look before
the session tonight.

Cheers

Tim

i'm coming. i'm bringing the project that sits in my head and the
desire to start making it happen, but i need help.
some of you have already (very kindly) started talking to me about it,
but i'd love to get to the end of tomorrow knowing (at the very least)
what bits i can bodgit together with from things in the store, and/or
what bits need to be ordered so i can start building in the next
session.

very much looking forward to be a proper member of hackerspace
adelaide, finally :)

(i'm the one who brought a camera last week. i'll leave that at home
tomorrow… but it might return later if that's cool with everyone)
