Yay for culturally irrelevant sports metaphors!

It looks like we can get the lantern working for the opening (or closing, if you are a car) of Peel St this Saturday night. Festivities start about 7pm and that's what I think we should aim for.

I'm going to do some work on the frame tonight after work and I'll be in at least from 1pm on Saturday (earlier if I can manage it).

You might be wandering what is left to do?

Let's see, quite a few fiddly soldering jobs that you, (yes YOU!) could definitely assist with. We need to make up adapter cables for the 8 Arduino pro's that will be driving the half rows. We also need to solder some chunky power and ground wires to all of the source boards on the right-hand-side of the lantern. Probably more that I can't think of while on my morning commute.

Hoping to see you tomorrow, or maybe even tonight!

And there's software to hack on! I'm sure there's various bits that
don't work, but notably you can't send data from the computer to the
master yet.

i'll be in from 1pm at least, but if you want to be in earlier, let the list know and between those with keys we can probably arrange to be there.
