I can't remember who it was that said "real robots should walk" - but here's an interesting one for you:

Made entirely of 3D printed parts and hobby grade servos, etc.  I really need to stop looking at robots.  I want them all.

Those instructions look thorough, and they've posted their code, so it's probably not that hard to build.

Yeah - it's fully open sourced (code and build), it's something worth thinking about anyway.  Especially since I'm in the process of making a Shadow Heartless with light up LED eyes.  How much cooler would he be if he could walk too?

he he he.. pretty tempted to add some extra detail to make it look
more like a star wars two legged walker:

definitely going to noodle around in their walking code. might be

I know, it struck me straight away how similar the two look.  I can't wait to see your hexapod strut it's stuff.  Have you decided on a design yet Simon?
