Todays geohash is near the  railyards near the weir in the city. Get there if you can.
(If I had checked earlier I could have grabbed a photo from the train as it went past.)

Finnaly some decent geocaching in SA. Originally when I was looking into it locally it was pretty lame, businesses effectively using it as a means of marketing.
Unfortunately I don't really have time these days but great to know it is actually becoming something here. :D

Not near Mt Barker, but in the sea next to Adelaide.. 1 degree of
latitude by 1 degree of longitude is a little bit too large to do by
bicycle after work.

One day I'll go read how the date to lat/long hash works. Maybe there
needs to be a SA geo-hashing twitter feed or summat. When it finds a
practical location it tweets/emails about it.

Which also means we get twice the chance of it being somewhere useful- if it's in the bottom of the grid square, we take the north square, and if it's in the top of the square, we take the south square.
