These guys just contacted me about a new space they're setting up in East Gippsland. They think it's the first rural makerspace in Australia. I've said I'll take the bus there at some stage.

I think that's the one where they've moved into an old hospital.  This video was on hack a day.  It looks pretty amazing, but I think some people have put in substantial amounts of money to get it started.

I like how they're accommodating to various groups, with craft workshops, woodworking etc.
