This is an online resource for Transition Town Llandeilo Inititiative, based in South West Cymru, UK.

• The main focus for discussion and debate relates to issues of: Water; Waste; and Resources.

          - these subjects were identified by a round table discussion group at the AGM in December 2008.

• This forum is open to everyone irrespective of age, location, ability or involvement.

This group is designed for online public discussion and free sharing of information and skills.  Open access to factual evidence, scientific data and practical applications can be provided by anyone to everyone via links, bookmarks and files, allowing for a greater dissemination of relevant current affairs and issues. We want to improve the knowledge transfer needed to help transition our cities, towns, neighbourhoods and communities into a post carbon society.

Rather than being a private and insular group, habitable wishes to develop and expand links with others who share these same principles.  As a working group we aim to support and build an infrastructure for energy descent. 

So, whether it be through the action of business, local government or individuals, change must occur.  Therefore, we are seeking any and all interested people, local communities, groups, organisations, members of industry, commerce and public agencies to become a part of the solution and not to remain a part of the problem.

Please feel free to register as a member, this will allow you to post and receive email messages and updates.

As a member you may post anything you think might be of interest or benefit to the group.  ie. videos; blogs; articles; journals; reports; studies; and policies.  Knowledge transfer and skill sharing are at the heart of the transition movement and this group is designed to assist in building an infrastructure for energy descent.
