·         5+ year’s development experience.

·         Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well on

·         Strong experience in the industry or in a production/service
environment.

·         Extensive knowledge in systems development life cycle and
methodologies.

*Required Skills:*

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related
discipline, or equivalent

·         5+ years experience working on GIS projects

·         5+ years .NET development experience in a structured software
development environment

·         3+ years experience with ESRI ArcGIS

·         1+ year of Silverlight developer experience.

·         Experience with Telvent ArcFM products highly desired

*Responsibilities: *

·         Evaluates designs, installs, maintains, and enhances applications
that are being deployed as part of the Sempra Utilities GIS application
that supports our Environmental Services Department.

·         The position will perform hands-on GIS application design,
programming, implementation, and support for GIS applications.

·         Also, the position may at times perform complex hands-on
integrated programming, data analysis, and application development
including maintenance and future enhancements of existing systems.

·         Development of project proposals, recommend optimal approaches
and develop GIS application designs.

·         Advises on alternatives and on implications of new or revised GIS
software and applications.

·         This position will require utilizing ESRI desktop software &
extensions to perform GIS analysis and create professional map documents
for a wide spectrum of projects.

·         The ideal candidate is a senior level software developer who has
previously worked with a GIS software team
