Hi there,

im playing a bit wit Habari since i've read about it. Now i want to
switch from WP cos the new Version sucks wit the needed Memor for PHP.

When i try to import my Wordpress i get the following error:

Warning: PDO::beginTransaction() [function.PDO-beginTransaction]:
SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 2014 Cannot execute queries while
other unbuffered queries are active.

PDOException: There is no active transaction in .../blog2/system/
classes/databaseconnection.php line 389

I allready deactivated the pingback Function.

Somebody have an Idea?

While all plugins that call outside your site need to be disabled for
the import to work properly, what you're experiencing is a different
issue which I've not seen. The importer should be checking to see if
it is in a transaction before it tries to begin on.

As the importer is working, it gives a message showing what part of
the import is in progress. For example, it begins by saying something
like 'Beginning import', then 'Importing users', then 'Importing Posts
x-y of z', then 'Importing Comment x-y of z', and so on. It would be
helpful if you noted which section of the import was occuring when the
importer fails. It would also be helpful if you noted which Habari
plugins are active, and what database backend you are using for
Habari.

I have the same problems like AWachert.

I have deactivated all plugins except "WordPress Importer 1.1"

Warning: PDO::beginTransaction() [function.PDO-beginTransaction]:
SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 2014 Cannot execute queries while
other unbuffered queries are active. Consider using
PDOStatement::fetchAll(). Alternatively, if your code is only ever
going to run against mysql, you may enable query buffering by setting
the PDO::MYSQL_ATTR_USE_BUFFERED_QUERY attribute. in system/classes/
databaseconnection.php line 368
