Subject: Event content disappears

Hi community,

my latest three posts of type "event" do not appear in my blog's
timeline... all other entries display fine and older events do, too. Any
ideas?

I can edit and preview the posts. I can also access them directly, they
just don't appear in the flow.

It is not theme related. Charcoal also does not display them.

The date is correct. I just published the latest one, the date is today, it
should be on top but it is not.

I have no idea what happened. If you have any ideas please let me know.

Konzertheld

Guten tag Konzertheid

If you're running Habari 0.9-alpha d918a831 or later (check the sysinfo
page), you're likely to be encountering the new "presets" functionality.

I encountered a similar issue with the linkblog plugin and had to make the
following modification to it...

https://github.com/lildude/linkblog/commit/0e5f0b9e9086a831c2888e0df3...

You probably need to do the same thing for your "event" content type.

Good to hear it.

That line shouldn't be there :-)  It was part of my attempts to get presets
working and I forgot to remove it :-)

I wonder if the method we use is the best one. If I get it correctly, we
are modifying user filters so the theme shows our own type. But:

- we do it in a way multiple content types cannot be displayed at the same
time
- we do it at the wrong point. User filters override the preset the theme
uses (which is by default the default home preset). Shouldn't we instead
modify the home preset (and possibly other presets) to display our content
type as in
http://wiki.habariproject.org/en/Presets#Altering_the_properties_of_a...
 ?
