Trying to import Wordpress, ends up stalling on me

I'm having a bit of an ish with trying to import my old Wordpress blog
into Habari.
I activated the wordpress importer plugin, went into the admin >
import, entered in all the information correctly (i even remembered
it's not "localhost" on the mt grid-servers) and it seems to be
working, up until it hits posts 201-300. It just seems to stall.

I tried a few times to import, and once it hits 201-300, it just sits
there. I check the database and it seems to only import 399 posts in
total. Unfortunately I have 609 posts, plus over 3000 comments. But
like I mentioned, it seems to stop on the 201-300 mark and doesn't
import any comments either.

Anyone have any clues? Is something timing out maybe?

I'm running Habari 0.3.3 and the wordpress importer seems to be
version 1.0

Well it seems I've fixed the ish. After floating around here and
finding a link to the Habari page on Tweet Scan, it seems someone else
was having this problem, and fixed it by de-activating the pingback
plugin, then importing the Wordpress posts. I gave it a shot, and it
worked! Awesome!

AH! the importer has been updated since 0.3.3. I'm not sure the
versions have changed however in trunk. .4 will soon be out, but you
may want to give the latest nightly a try http://www.habariproject.org/dist/habari_head.zip
and see if that clears up your importing issues.

If you are importing into a clean install, that is no existing
content, you should empty your posts, comments, postinfo, tags, and
tags2post tables.

Don't hesitate to check back if you have more questions, and if you
haven't already, stop in #habari IRC channel, there's usually someone
around who might be able to help as well.

Any hints on what type of changes Habari will have from the 0.3.3 to
the new .4?
How long til a new release? I check the main site every day to see...
I have to say I love the clean admin area. As great s wordpress is, I
love how uncluttered the admin page seems to be compared to wordpress.
Please tell me it won't be messed with too much. lol
