I've tested the Wysiwyg Editors Plugins (TinyMCE and ckeditor) but
none of them works. In the admin panel it shows activated but when I
edit/create a site no symbols, like bold, will be shown. I use Habari
0.6.3
Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Carlo

Try this one here https://trac.habariproject.org/habari-extras/ticket/206
everything you need to know is in the INSTALL.txt file :)

Chris, thanks for working on the plugin. See my comment on that
ticket. Basically, there's a full version of the plugin at
http://svn.ziadaproject.org/ziada/plugins/tinymce, which is the
preferred place for collaboration.

Chris, I tried yours, but I always get the error: Fatal error: Class
TinyMCE contains 1 abstract method and must therefore be declared
abstract or implement the remaining methods (Plugin::info) in /user/
plugins/tinymce/tinymce.plugin.php on line 153

Hi Carlo,

I've had a quick look into the error you were experiencing. It looks
as though the development for this plugin had moved beyond the current
Habari release of 0.6.x and had been developed for the 0.7 plugin API,
which is why the error was occurring.

I've made some changes to the development version so it's currently
compatible with the released version of Habari. You can download a
copy of the plugin which should be usable on 0.6.4 at:
http://ziadaproject.org/dist/plugins/tinymce/

At the moment you'll only see one version of the plugin in that list
called trunk - which should work for Habari 0.6.x.

Cheers,
Simon

That's just broken the plugin for anyone running 0.7, I think the 0.6.x version goes on a branch and plugin trunk runs against habari's trunk generally. You can see this in most -extras plugins and habaribackup[1] on ziada.

It think we more or less agree - as I said in my commit message, I
think an 0.6.x tag should be made for the TinyMCE plugin and trunk
moved on to develop for 0.7 (inline with Habari trunk). I'll make
changes as you've suggested in the morning. I know about Habari's
release procedure, but is here a release procedure or suggested
procedure for plugins anywhere? I didn't want to tag anything as a
release without a little involvement from someone else.

Maybe I'm nitpicking a little here, but nobody would be running 0.7
yet - they'd be running trunk. People running trunk shouldn't be too
surprised if things break, but sorry if I've caused anyone problems.

Thanks drzax for fixing up the directory structure. After verifying it
worked with 0.6.4, I tagged a 0.6 compatible download:
http://ziadaproject.org/dist/plugins/tinymce/tinymce-0.6-0.6.zip

There isn't a formalized release procedure for plugins yet - in
practice once a newer version in a stable branch is updated, a new tag
should be created--once one or two people have confirmed it works. The
files in the /dist/plugins/ directories of both habari-extras and
ziada will automatically create zips from each tag.

The plugin in trunk (and tinymce-trunk.zip) are now habari trunk-
compatible as of ziada rev 30.
Thanks again for the help!
