How to get my blog searchable?

I entered my Meta tags into my blog as I developed it but for some
reason, I can't google myself. Is there something missing? I'm very
new in working with php files and never had an issue back in the days
with straight up html indexing. I already tried registering my URL to
google and it's been a few days since I launched. Appreciate any
advice! Thanks.

This always tends to take a while. Check back in a few more days.
Google is big, and big things tend to move slowly. Unless they're
called "planets" or "planet-destroying asteroids". Those move really,
really fast.

If it's a brand new site, you might be playing around in the Google
sandbox with a bucket and spade.

The sitemap plugin is also a good idea to implement (
http://www.habariproject.org/dist/plugins/ ). It basically gives Google (and
others) information about what content you have.

Shall I suggest an alternative method/methods to get indexed on Google ? (According to decreasing order of preference)

1 - Get your site linked from by another site, which is already in the index. (Preferably one that has content published frequently.)
2 - Place Google AdSense codes in your pages and wait for 48 hours.
3 - Comment on a "dofollow" enabled blog with your link in the URL field.
4 - Find a good blog with updated content that has the "Top commentator" plugin installed and leave a few comments, just enough to show up on the sidebar as a top commentator.

Remember, they are in decreasing order of preference.
