Created an account on the wiki and am not receiving a confirmation
email for edit privileges (requested several times, check spam folder
etc). Account name dperry. Anybody help?

Tried again. 20min later nothing. Changed email on my account and
tried again, worked fine. Go figure. Thanks for the attention.

Yeah, we've had to do some crazy things to prevent wikispam over the
years, and Mediawiki is such a fickle beast I'm not surprised to hear
your story.

If it does it again, just kick it harder.  Or email.
