Hi,

The title says it all. Example here http://david.latapie.name/habari/post

I don't think this is a feature per se. But as I see it, it's not a bug either. In many cases, posts (entries and pages are just two forms of posts) may not need titles. An aside content type might not be the best example, but it's definitely an applicable one.

Feature. The most obvious example is a Tumblr, microblog style where
people post an endless stream of inane drivel with no subjects.

To my mind, neither a feature nor a bug. the permalink is the
important thing to find the post, and all will have one. The permalink
to posts without titles would default to 'post', or 'post-2',
'post-3', etc, so they are never duplicated. If you want a different
permalink, you can change it under the settings tab on the publish
page.

Thank you all for your answers

By aside, do you mean the content of an <aside> tag (HTML5)?

Tumblr, is it something like Twitter (I refuse to enter the Facebook
and Twitter thing - call me old-timer ;-))?

In the context of evangelisation, what would be the best way to
demonstrate how good it is to have title made optional?

In this context, aside would be a short post you might want to put in
the sidebar of a page rather than in the main flow of posts. An aside
would be denoted to Habari by tagging the post as an aside, The Mzingi
theme that comes with Habari shows how one might use asides.

Alright, I understand now. I'd need more example of real like use to
understand how useful i may be in real life, though (twitter-like in
the sidebar? Shoutbox?).
