Yesterday I posted that I would be riding out of St. Francis at 11am this morning, but it does not make much sense to offer 2 rides out of basically the same location.

I have decided to yield to Andy's ride at 10am (please see his post), so, anyone who might have been considering riding with me at 11am should consider getting out an hour earlier and joining Andy on what looks like a great course.

Have a safe ride!

Excellent point. Let me re-phrase...

You would think that because I was the first to post a ride, and, being a full time, diehard Gyro advertising on a Gyro format, that I would not be pushed aside by an ex-Gyro (who I used to drop like a bad habit) muscling in with his sad attempt at finding someone to ride with.

The evidence is clear:

I offer a ride at 11am. He offers his one hour earlier. (The early bird gets the worm, so to speak)

I offered a distance of 30 miles. He offers one of 57, with shorter options. (He should just hand out candy...)

I advertise a pace of 18-19. He does not advertise a pace. (Come one, come all...I will accommodate you!)

I was a bit generic with my course. He carefully, and, in great detail, mapped out his course. (Look at what a great navigator I am...we all know that Rick is directionally-challenged...he misses turns before we even have a turn...)

Because of this obvious attempt at demeaning my efforts I decided to step aside for the good of the club, and all of mankind.

Happy Holidays, all.

This started off good... and then went downhill like Ed.

All in good fun, my friend...all in good fun.

Andy knows that I love him. And, that the real truth of the matter is that his ride was the better option.
