B Group: Colder morning temps bring a little later start time and keeps Leslie indoors. Thanks for leading during our '09 season Leslie. Your leadership style brought many cyclists to share these rides and conversations with us!

Last year our off season routes we were usually between 50 and 59 miles.
Please let me know (offline) if you would like the routes to sometimes (or always) be shorter this off season.

MEETING PLACE:
   Pleasant Union Elementary - (Directions:
http://www.raleighgyros.com/locations.htm)
TIME:  Saturday 11/7 @ 9:00 am
RIDE DISTANCE:  43 or 53 or 59 miles
PACE:  16 mph average, no drop.
CUE SHEET:  See attached "59-53-43 FlatRoutes" cue sheet
NOTE FROM MARIA: Let's try this new stretch of Southview Rd. Thanks Tony! Depending on how many show to ride, we may adjust the way out and return in. The cue sheet has optional short cuts. We can decide which mileage to do at PUE. Bring the cue sheet as I may (hoping not!) need to drop off early.

For our safety ...
1) If this is your first time or if it's been a while since you cycled with us please be courteous and contact me prior to showing up for our group ride. (ma...@raleighgyros.com)
2) Please contact Tony (
to...@raleighgyros.com)
for an alternate ride if this group does not meet your cycling needs.
3) B group was created over 2 years ago and based on the Gyro categories/levels web page (http://www.raleighgyros.com/rides.htm) therefore our group
rides are for experienced cyclists with substantial group riding experience. We offer the Sunday Touring ride for those without this experience.

Thanks,
Maria

Another option to consider for Saturday, although it takes about 1 &
1/2 hours to get there, is the "Discover Anson" event out of
Ansonville, NC hosted by their Chamber of Commerce. I rode this last
year and its a nice relaxed event with a good post ride lunch. It
would be nice if we rode this as a "B" group ride. Anyway, I plan on
being there Saturday morning.
