11/7 B Group Ride

11 showed up at PUE this morning and left the parking lot doing several conversational warm up miles. 6 split to do the long route (10 extra miles) and pulled into PUE right after us who finished the shorter route. We have amazing cyclists! Donna brought the Adopt a Highway signature list for us to sign (Purnell Road from New Light to the Bridge) ... talk is we will have a tail gate feast when we finish making our roadside section clean and pretty. Do you need more signatures Donna? Southside Road is beautiful ... thanks Tony. We had no problem with dogs or cars. Good to see "A" group as they whizzed by us near Leesville Road. Super ride everyone. Thanks! Maria

Thanks for the great ride Maria. Yes, I have my signatures and the
application is in the mail. We need to do 4 quarterly "sweeps" so
hoping to do our first one in December. Still waiting to hear back on
finalizing Purnell but looks really good.
Not sure about the "tail gate feast" but will bring some drinks for
all the wonderful participants. Think this is going to be a worthwhile
venture and we'll have to get a picture of us at our official sign.
