Many open source projects have live discussion channels (often via IRC) and I think they can help encourage strong and nurturing of communities, as I'd like the GWTP user and developer communities to be.
Following a suggestion by Arthur Kalmenson, I checked out Convore and it seems like a perfect tool for such a channel. I therefore invite you to join us over there for quick chats and preliminary design discussions. Complex questions should still go on the forum.
(Disclaimer: this is an experiment, we'll see how it goes... Also, the channel may not be manned at all times.)

Wont an IRC channel be better? We would automatically login every time we open our workstations.. Most of the people have their fav list of channels they auto join!

I personally like convore better than IRC. I could never find a frictionless browser-based IRC client. Plus I really love the fact that Convore keeps an history server-side.
In my case, I have Convore as a pinned tab in Chrome and it fires up as soon as I fire Chrome (which is: always) so I'm always logged on.

This is probably not the site you are looking for!
You attempted to reach convore.com, but instead you actually reached a server identifying itself as*.grove.io. This may be caused by a misconfiguration on the server or by something more serious. An attacker on your network could be trying to get you to visit a fake (and potentially harmful) version ofconvore.com.

Convore changed a lot in the past year... and yes this is expected, it changed name to Grove.

Anyone up for starting an IRC channel on freenode? It seems Convore/Grove is gone now and would be good to have somewhere to hang out and ask quick little questions etc, meet other GWTP developers etc.
What do you think?

By the way:
I use LimeChat to chat in IRC. It's an free Application for Mac. It think there is also a Windows version but I never used it.
