A first aid and CPR course is available through St. John's Ambulance for our track volunteers who wish to be qualified track monitors. A track monitor is required by WSPRS to be present whenever
the velodrome track is in use. The course cost is $89 and runs from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm over the course of one day. So far we have 8 people who have expressed interest in the course and the most popular date is Sunday , February 26th. We will be able to hold the session at the velodrome in the upper clubhouse if we have at least 8 confirmed participants, so could everyone who has expressed interest please confirm this date with me and would anyone else interested please contact me asap. I would like to have this booked with St. John's and Juan de Fuca this week.
