2007 Grand Rapids Regatta--GV Alumni Boats

to race at the Grand Rapids Regatta July 7.

So far, six men have committed to be in GR July 7, but only two women.
We can obviously get a Master's Men's 4 and a Master's Mixed 4 with
what we have, but we'd like to get some 8s. Greg just bought a brand-
new 8 for his high school team, and he'd like to row in it to see how
it feels.
If you want to join us, get in touch with Greg (or me at
szal...@msu.edu or 269-663-3281) as soon as possible so that Greg can
plan our entries and boats. We may also get together Friday afternoon/
evening (July 6) for some practice rows if there is enough interest.

for races. (You'll note that there are no Mixed 4s or 8s, so those are
out.) If you'd like to row 1,000 M, your choices are the Men's
Master's 4+ and 8+, Women's Master's 4+ and 8+ or Rec Women's 8+.
(There are also Master's 1X and 2X, but I think you'll have to find
your own boat.)
So, we need more alums who want to row.
Please note you have to be 27 to row Masters Races, so younger alums
will have to row the entire course in the open events, not just the
shorter 1,000 M. (I'm also willing to jump in a boat for the full
course, if we're short a seat.)

him there as soon as you can, as entries are due July 2. His cell is
