Subject: GVSU Rowing's Class of '08 Off to Fast Start
Hello everyone,

I'm giving this group thing one more shot. Check out the team's
website at www.grandvalleyrowing.com and click on the articles about
the team's performances at the CRASH-B's on ergs and against Florida
Tech on the water.

These guys are fast this year. Seriously fast.

They'll be racing at Notre Dame (fifteen minutes from my house) this
Saturday morning (March 15), and I'll happily host any alums who'd
like to come down to watch. It's St. Patrick's weekend, so it will be
a good time to be with the Fighting Irish.

Also, the 13th-Annual Lubbers Cup will be March 29 in Grand Rapids
with the 16th-Annual GV Crew Spring Banquet to follow that evening in
Grand Haven. Details are at the team's website. We have a growing
alumni contingent coming back to these events, so get your teammates
to join us this year. It's a good time.

Also, if anyone wants to join a "GVSU Alumni" erg team, Concept II is
having its annual Team Challenge from March 15 to April 15. If anyone
is interested, I'll captain a team. Join up, get in shape, and we
might just win an erg for the team. Szia,

Shane Szalai, '96.
