I think I broke something in the engine.
Had the GTV running and it seemed pretty good then it back fired through the carb and quit. No problem, she's done that before but now it's very tight feeling on the kick starter. Pull the clutch and the lever moves through. Let it out and I could stand on the lever. The engine still turns but very tight as if it was seizing. I'll let it cool down and try it again next week unless I swing by the shop tomorrow.
At least the oil leaks are gone......

If it was English and there’s no oil leaks it’s out of oil. That would explain the problem too

This bike has been a heart breaker. Thought I had things behind me with the oil line replaced. 
I thought about the No leak=no oil thing. Oil checked. I've raced my Cheney B50/B44 for 25 years and been riding my Rocket Gold Star for longer. They will leave their mark wherever we go.
I'll start digging into it. The worst part is the bike has been at the shop since I got it. I should sell a couple of bikes so I have space to pull it apart at home.
