Bom, não sei exatamente se é um plugin ou se o recurso é nativo, o fato é que só consigo colocar em funcionamento o ALT-TAB do Compiz (com thumbnails das janelas e renderizacao "em tempo real").
Estou executando com o comando abaixo.

E no terminal onde chamo o compiz, recebo mensagens de erro dos arquivos de configuracao (por enquanto minha melhor pista)

Troquei de máquina recentemente, e por isso ainda estou meio perdido querendo aproveitar os novos recursos de hardware. Já consegui vencer o video ATI onboard, mas ainda estou apanhando para o Flash (não existe para 64-bit) e para o Compiz (só queria testar mesmo, nao pretendo ficar com isso pendurado no desktop).
Ja encontrei diversos foruns com receitinhas de bolo, interfaces de configuracao, todos voltados para Debian/Ubuntu. Eu queria algo mais... linha de comando.
