Position      :   Senior Basis Administrator

Location     :   BASKING RIDGE, NJ 

Duration     :   3 Month contract on hire

****Must be EAD, Green card, or Citizen****

Must-haves:

6-7 years of Basis experience in an ECC6 and 4.6C environment, with an emphasis in configuration, analysis and troubleshooting 

5 years of experience with Linux, HP-UX and Oracle, as well as Solution Manager 

Experience with performance tuning, support/enhancement packs and patches and system refreshes across the landscape 

Must Have Great Upgrade Experience 

Must have Production Support 

Experience with Transport Packages, job scheduling/troubleshooting, Java and ABAP stack maintenance 

Must have participated in an ECC6 implementation, in a Basis/SAP Landscape design role 

Experience supporting applications and projects in a large sized, global company 

Excellent documentation and project management skills 

Great communication skills 

MUST HAVE WORKED IN DEPTH IN A MULTI PROJECT ENVIRONMENT ON ALL ASPECT OF PRODUCTION 

Plusses:

SAP Certification 

Role:

This role is part of the client's SAP Solution Center. Work with project teams on Basis related task to ensure successful project completion in SAP ECC 6.0, R/3 4.6C and related environments. Work with operations team to ensure stable SAP productive landscape. This position will support the BASIS strategy around hardware, software and databases. In addition, the position will support SAP BASIS administration and technical core competencies tasks including SAP software installation, upgrade, applying support packages, and installation of add-on software components. Mentor and guide junior team members.
