Dear GSP members,
The annual general meeting of the Guatemala Stove Project is fast
approaching. It will be held on **
*Sunday June 6**, 2010 from 3:00 - 5 p.m. at***
*Factory Grind Cafe, 1 Sherbrooke E., Perth*
Directions to Factory Grind Cafe: drive through Perth on Drummond street
until North St.; turn left and continue to Sherbrooke St. (about 2
blocks). Factory Grind is located in the old Brown shoe factory, parking
is available.

Meeting starting at 3 p.m. sharp
1. GSP Volunteers Jim, Nancy and Paul use photos to share why they
volunteer and their work during the 2010 trip to Guatemala. (*15-20
minutes*).
2. Perth Rotary Club rep - David Batchelor speaks to the vision care
initiative and their 1st trip to Guatemala pointing out the connections
between the need for stoves and eye problems in the highlands. (* _15
minutes_*)
3. Presentation to volunteer Wyn Kalagian in appreciation of her
fantastic fundraising efforts.
*15 minute* break - refreshments and informal Q & A - followed by the
business meeting.

*9-* Discussion - Future Directions for the GSP/ Establishing a GSP
Financial Plan for creation of a surplus/ reserve fund as a requirement
for seeking future CIDA funding.
*10-* Election of new board member(s). - discussion of yearly/biannual
renewal of BOD
*11-* Date for 2010 / 2011 AGM.
*12-* Adjournment, followed by Pot Luck dinner at Al and Sandra
Teflissi's place.
