Dear Friends,

When I listen to Stephen Harper or his minions I usually 

feel I'm going to lose my lunch. And then along comes

Conservative Senator Hugh Segal who wants

to make sure we all at least have a lunch to lose,

whatever our political leanings.

I know I'm risking a few dinner invitations by revealing

this but I have to say that Senator Segal is on of my heroes.

His is a unique, daring and articulate voice these days on

the challenges of poverty and food security in Canada.

No way I'm going to miss this one.
