Something happening at Google Wallet?

Looks like there might be some updates to Google Wallet. https://wallet.google.com/s/?page=waitlist

The chances that it will be available on mobile phones in India with whatever changes is very low, but still, at least for the other markets (only US now?) it would be very important to follow and then eventually India also.

Btw, anybody in GDG bangalore who has already used Google Wallet on any applications?

I have registered online and also updated to latest app.. but looks like wallet is not yet supported in India

Didn't we already have Google Wallet available in India? The availability page shows it is available in India: http://support.google.com/wallet/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=2604797

I signed up without success, but my credit card was charged for Rs 50. When I go back to the manage page (http://wallet.google.com/manage/), I don't see my card listed there.

From what I understand, we can make purchases and also use the web version. The mobile version I don't have yet and Play doesn't let me install it either. But mine is an older version of Android; do others have the mobile version in India?

Ashutosh, if you don't have Google Wallet, how do you make your Play app purchases?

Anyways, the link was more to inform that there might be something new (not necessarily for India though) ... maybe even something announced on the October 29th 'The Playground is Open' event.
