I guess it is common to see values like 25, 26, or 28.. (one or three hours after midnight).But does it make sense if the value is 49? like two days after the calendar date??--

Sounds like a great trivia question... Wikipedia suggests 178 hours for the Moscow-Vladivostok through-train. I might imagine a motorcoach schedule could exist, that would have a longer total published journey time (given slower average speed and no limitation on rail track beds)?
