Looking for documentation on GTFS and GTFS-realtime?  There's a new URL for that!

https://developers.google.com/transit/

As part of a larger effort to migrate a number of developer resources from http://code.google.com/ to https://developers.google.com/, we have moved the documentation for the GTFS and GTFS-realtime specifications to an updated developer page.  We've also taken this opportunity to clean up and reorganize the docs a bit.

We recognize that the original documentation pages have been around for a while now and there are a lot of links out there.  As such, we'll be redirecting the old pages for the foreseeable future.  That said, if you have any documentation that points to an old link, now would be a great time to update it.

I hope you find the new site useful and appreciate any feedback you might have.

Thanks,

Brian Ferris

Hi Brian-  I changed all my links to the new GTFS developer page.

Here's a question for you.  I think there used to be non-English versions of the Spec available.  This link no longer works: http://code.google.com/intl/ca-ES/transit/spec/transit_feed_specification.html

Are there still non-English versions available?

To my knowledge, the GTFS spec page had only been translated into two languages (Japanese and Portuguese) but those translations  hadn't been updated in a while and were out of sync with the main spec.  We're working on figuring out what do about translations of the updated documentation and I will give everyone an update when I have more details.
