GTDA April Swing Dance- with Hop Shop! 4/19

Hey Swing cats!
I’m pleased to announce that this upcoming Friday April 19, 2013 Georgia Tech Dance Association will be hosting the April Swing Dance- with Hop Shop! Put on your dancing shoes and join us this Friday night to swing out to the sounds of the Hop Shop Hot Five!
Bandleader Michael Gamble has assembled a team of regional players, including veterans from the Rhythm Serenaders, the Hotlanta Dixieland Jazz Band, the Low-Down Sires, the Firecracker Jazz Band, and Russ Wilson's Nouveau-Passe Orchestra. Their collected talent will present tunes that span Hot Jazz to Dixieland to Swing with an infectious rhythm that will leave your heart happy and dance-muscles aching.
If it's been a while since you last danced, or if you just need a refresher, stop by our free beginners lesson from 8pm-9pm.
The dance itself will follow from 9pm to midnight.
Admission pricing is as follows:
All students, teacher, and military- $5
ASEDA/ AJDPS/ ASDC members- $5
General Admission- $10

There is limited free parking at the meters on Ferst Drive next to the student center after 5pm. The visitor lot adjacent to the student center offers $5 flat rate parking for the evening.
