JFK 50 Miler November 22nd

Hey all,

 

I know it’s a little early, but I thought I’d send this out so that I might actually commit to visiting everyone in MD for once.  On November 22^nd, there’s a 50 mile ultra-marathon being held in western MD that includes country roads, the C & O Canal (flat as a pancake dirt path), and the AT (not so flat).  Unless the weather freaks out, there should still be some great fall colors to see in that part of the state.  I’ve got family and friends in the area, so lodging/transportation shouldn’t be a problem.  A visit to DC would also be in order, as the city is awesome.

 

I think I’m going to register and fly out to spend Thanksgiving with some family.  Let me know if you’re interested in the “race”, or just seeing some of MD.
